DoCoMo serves your DLNA content to a friend's TV via mobile phone {Engadget}
Oct 10th 2008 5:39PM Exactly. So you can automate the process.
As you walk into range into his house, the phone picks up the network, logs in, does the DLNA preaccess stuff behind the scenes, so he just turns on the computer, PS3, TV, or whatever other streaming device he has and streams the stuff from your house. WHen you are done watching a movie and you go home, the access gpes away automatically. And all this could be done without you even touching your phone thats in your pocket.
Sounds cool. And doable.
Netflix implements $1 per month Blu-ray premium charge {Engadget HD}
Oct 9th 2008 11:23AM I sure hope so. Currently i get about 2 Blurays a month on the 1 at a time plan due to stock shortages/wait times. If they up their inventory to where I can get 1 a week, that's good enough for me.
With DVDs I can get 5-6 a month, the distribution center is in my town.
