DLP is the bottom of the HDTV barrel. You're just looking to join the HDTV club when you buy DLP, or you're just looking to brag about the size of your TV, not the quality. For my money, I'd take a 50" 720 plasma over a 65" 1080 DLP any day of the week.

Mar 27th 2008 1:25AM I'm in Peoria, IL and I just got this exact letter today. I'm actually one of the guys that gave EngadgetHD the news (I'm Adam). I can't wait. I was just waiting until either Dish Network or DirecTV offered locals in HD in Peoria and I was gonna switch. But now that Comcast is actually adding quite a bit of HD content in my area, I'm MUCH less tempted to switch. Sure satellite has ALOT of channels, but I don't care what the satellite companies claim, the picture still goes crazy in bad weather.

DS Lite launches in the US {Joystiq}
Jun 12th 2006 8:37AM I GOT MINE!!!! It's great, never had a DS before, I was specifically waiting for the inevitable redesign before getting one.
Went to 3 places to find one that wasn't already pre-ordered for someone else, had to get it at Best Buy.
I picked up NSMB (great game!!), Metroid Hunters, and Tetris for the wife (she loves it). I of course have to buy many more games when I have the money.

May 10th 2006 10:02PM So basically it's just like any other controller, it's nothing without the software, that's not a surprise. I'm sure once developers figure out how to get the most out of the Wiimote, it'll be incredible.
