And what's the point with HD if all the extras are SD?? WTF? Now fix this so that the ridiculous prices of BD can finally be justified(?)

Jun 12th 2008 2:36PM I have to say that i absolutely love Opera and have been using it as my main browser for the last 5-6 years. I'm using it on both Mac and Windows and it works really well. 9.5 has some new looks and seems to be even faster than before, which was no slouch either. I especially like how fast Opera is when you go one page back. I mean, back then when i was on Windows and using IE, it used to take forever to go forward, or back, but with Opera it zipps back and forth really quickly!! That is for me very important if i surf the web and jump form page to page, back and forth. Been in love ever since! I use 98% Opera, 1,9% FF and 0,1% Safari (Yuck!)
Oh well, each for their own!!:-)

well, "your" format is doing too well tbh. I do have to say, the curves for BD are going in completely wrong direction, i mean, this is what the consumers wanted, right? Why isn't it going the other direction?
I'm seriously planning getting a BD player, probably around christmas or so, but the more it's pointing downards, the more sceptical i become over the format. Sure you can blame it on the economy, blame it on that all movies are not being released on BD, blame it on whatever, but the fact is that the proces are too high! If the price is right it doesn't matter if the economy is not doing so well, or that all movies are not on BD if they cost less. Money talks, bullshit walks!!
Lower the goddamn prices and people will come. And it's true what HD4me is saying, the difference between a DVD and BD is just not too significant to impress the mass market, i do also think this will quickly become a niche product, unfortunately....

May 6th 2008 4:01PM This thing is nice and all, but from all the negative press Blu-Ray has been getting lately, they are taking another step back once more.
I'm all in for BD, but i'm sorry, i don't feel the prices are justified the way they are today. No wonder people are staying off and waiting. I am waiting too, and the longer i wait, the more attractive dowloadable media will be.
