Intel shells out $1.25 billion to settle all AMD litigation {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 12:40PM Jeez, can I get just $1 million out of that? I'm sure no one will miss it.

Sprint cutting up to 2,500 more employees from the payroll {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 10:55AM Sprint is the only company I've ever been with. At first getting a signal was rough in many places. Their coverage was very "spotty". Now I can't tell when last I've had a poor signal and I travel alot more now. Their data network is also second to none. Unlimited tethering, faster network speeds, great selection of phones and cheaper plans. I really can't think of why they lose so many customers.

Analyst estimates 100,000 DROID smartphones sold in first weekend {Engadget}

Nov 10th 2009 10:16AM I remember all the sad Motorola faces that used to show up on this site. I'm definitely happy for them now. This may not be anywhere as successful as the RAZR was back in the day but they have proven that they can hang with today's demands.

NPD: Windows 7 sales 234% higher than Vista's first few days {Engadget}

Nov 5th 2009 6:00PM Saweet! Now if they could just kill 32bit the world would be a better place.

The Collectors, and the enemies of Mass Effect 2 {Joystiq}

Nov 5th 2009 5:54PM Good sci-fi is so rare, I must say ME has one of the most compelling sci-fi universes. This thing completely immerses me. The truth about the Reapers blew me away in the original and I can't wait to see what's in store in ME2.

Confirmed: Car-bashing bonus stage returns in Super Street Fighter IV {Joystiq}

Nov 5th 2009 4:28PM I'm not new and everytime I see that pic it's amazing.

Saygus VPhone V1 hits the FCC, headed for Verizon next? {Engadget}

Nov 5th 2009 4:15PM What is WiFi tethering and why is it important? I thought tethering is when you use your cellphone's 3G connection to give internet to your laptop. If there is already WiFi access, why do you need tethering?

LG roadmap predicts 'OLED panels will cost less than LCD panels in 2016' {Engadget}

Oct 30th 2009 9:29AM I was thinking just yesterday that OLED will replace LCD. Since these companies are moving towards 3D it makes sense. 3D in homes is highly dependent on refresh rates for it to work and OLED has tons of this.

NVIDIA Tegra to power next-gen Nintendo DS? {Engadget}

Oct 14th 2009 10:48AM These are reasonable specs. If one analog stick fit in your pocket why not 2? I can't imagine what would be greater than having XBL on the go. Being able to join parties and play multiplayer arcade games. Adding anything to the Zune HD just doesn't make sense. It wasn't designed for that.

NVIDIA Tegra to power next-gen Nintendo DS? {Engadget}

Oct 13th 2009 6:00PM I wish MSFT would jump in the handheld market. Only they can do online right.

4.3" OLED Touch Screen (Touch screen is only for virtual keyboard and web browsing. Not games)
1.5x the power of original Xbox
WVGA resolution
Dual analog sticks
SDHC
30GB HDD
WiFi
Blue Tooth 2
Tethering from other Internet capable devices like cellphones
No optical media
Lots of video/audio codec support
Complete XBox Live Dashboard
XBL Arcade games and Original Xbox game library (all at 60fps)

Come on MSFT you can make this happen.
