Found Footage: iPhone as remote control {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Oct 16th 2009 3:14PM Paging James Bond, a mister "Q" has delivered your minivan...

Apple reports 2009 Q3 earnings: $8.34B in revenues, profit of $1.35 per share {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 21st 2009 5:59PM A quick glance at extended hours trading shows AAPL is at 158.43. It closed at 151.51. Can't wait to see what it'll be at the opening bell tomorrow!

Another turn by turn app with voice for the iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 7th 2009 8:12PM I've been using G-Map since version 1.2. I love the addition of voice in 1.3.1! It finally makes the app useful, since I don't have to keep my eyes glued to the iphone screen anymore. The voice guidance starts warning you about your turn at 2 miles, 1 mile, 0.5 miles, 0.2 miles, and 200 feet. With the older version, you'd only get an audible beep at 200 feet, which meant you missed your turn if you were in the wrong lane. It's SO worth the money (though a bit sad because it used to be priced at $24.99)

Road Tested: Mophie Juice Pack Air {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 11th 2009 3:18PM I'm a road warrior that makes heavy use of the a2dp features found in the new iPhone 3.0 firmware. Listening to my music wireless drains my iPhone 3G battery like no other, so it would be great to have the Mophie Juice Pack Air to keep my phone alive if I'm not able to charge the phone after a drive in the car.

Dreamcast tablet is a handsome, portable solution for your discontinued gaming needs {Engadget}

Apr 1st 2009 4:34PM I miss the Dreamcast. However, I don't miss the loud GD-ROM drive. It's worse than the XBox 360's fan, I swear.

Engadget's recession antidote: win a 1.5TB Drobo! {Engadget}

Mar 24th 2009 12:04PM I need a Drobo for storing my photos!

CalDAV support comes to Google Calendar {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 29th 2008 1:57PM At this point, I'd rather stick to BusySync. Two-way syncing, support for multiple calendars, to-dos, support for color-labeling in calendars. I use it to sync between Google Mac mini MobileMe MacBook Air & iPhone. Granted, it's not push, but I'm not sure CalDAV is either.

Griffin iTrip AutoPilot FM transmitter for iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

May 23rd 2008 11:21AM I have been using a DLO Transdock Micro FM transmitter with my iPhone for over 6 months now. Not sure what this newer iPhone-compatible offers over it, apart from SmartScan and RDS. Insulation from cell RF perhaps?

Lux: multi-touch for OS X {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

May 17th 2008 12:24PM This implementation is similar in concept to Microsoft's surface table. I hope it doesn't get shut down...
