PSP Go review {Engadget}

Sep 28th 2009 1:13PM From what i have learned in the last few years, it seems that sony are trying to fleece the consumer with their crazy logic. I for one will not be buying the Go simply because they have no listened to the consumer about how to make a product appealing. The other thing is that I do agree that Sony are trying to curb the second hand market and the horrible thing that they did to lik-sang even though sony execs themselves bought psp's from lik-sang. Sorry Sony, but I think that your time is up.

Overheard@TGS: At least someone's happy ... {Joystiq}

Sep 25th 2009 11:42PM Is it really true that Che from Microsoft is the who has been trolling? Amazed to say the least. Actually, as much as I am saddened by the late release date of GT5, I remain steadfast in believing that PD will deliver an menacingly good game. A major balls-up by MS is that lack of Logitech support for Forza3.

iPod shuffle 2G is no more {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2009 10:51PM NOOOOOO. How the fuck can they do this. This litlle gadget is just perfect for when i am training or in the mood for some shuffling. plus the little thing fits perfectly around my wrist using the marware wrist band.How can apple do this. looks liek i am going to get a couple for when they are not avalable anymore.

iPod classic bumped to 160GB, price stays the same at $249 {Engadget}

Sep 9th 2009 3:37PM I am just plain glad that they brought the 160gb back. To me it seems that it is a revised version. 160gb is the perfect size for me. Once I get this I will be then setting my sights on getting the iPod Touch 64GB.

Samsung intros drop-dead gorgeous SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 camcorders {Engadget}

Apr 29th 2009 9:50AM While watching "The Gadget Show' on Channel 5 in the Uk, a similiar model of samsung was being reviewed and the reviewer said during the field test that he could not get on with it due to the angle of the lens. He went onto say that for years he had trained his brain to hold a video camera a certain way i.e. straight of directly in line of the action and the way this camera has been created makes it very hard to adapt/get in on the action.

Third-party iPod shuffle headphones will require Apple-licensed authentication chip {Engadget}

Mar 15th 2009 9:32PM This ipod shuffle is doomed for failure as far as i can see. Are Apple being serious with this one? there is no way that a person with enough common sense is going to fall for this one. Plus once the details get around as to how expensive the new ipod shuffle is going to be, I reckon people will start buying the 2G shuffle. Apple have just shot themselves in the foot with this sale. i hope that it fails miserably.

New iPod shuffle requires extra adapter for third-party headphones {Engadget}

Mar 11th 2009 10:25PM this is a somewhat step backward in terms of controls and by that i mean the shuffle play, linear play and off switches. What IMO was a logical design was seperating the 'off buttton' from the 'shuffle and linear play' on the 2nd generation ipods. The amount of times i became so irate because of the design of the first one. This shuffle is now turning into a very costly venture and I think that I will be sticking with the 2nd generation of ipod shuffle because the machine was so well designed.

Apparent Xbox 360 "Jasper" spotted in the wild {Engadget}

Nov 27th 2008 8:33PM i remember back in '98, my ps1 used to crash when playing gran turismo (grand valley speedway in reverse/last hairpin) and sony wanted me to pay £42 quid to have it repaired. Looking back at that, the fact that ms are willing to do it for free for a machine that is so much more complex is to be honest a bargain. I think that also with the 'install to hd' feature it has made my gaming experience with the 360 really enjoyable because I hated the noise the machine made when i purchased it around late august of this year BTW mine is the elite model. At the end of the day when compared to the automobile industry and their recalls it just shows that it can happen in any of the industries. But I have always had this theory that the reason that we gamers have had such a devastating amount of RROD is that MS were terrified of SONY getting in before them so irrespective of wether the machine had passed QC, they released knowing that there will be problems and had they not done that, i can honestly say the RROD would not be synonymous with MS and sales/reputation would have been much higher.

Goodbye, FireWire 400 {Engadget}

Nov 17th 2008 3:16PM So beautiful, I was mesmerised and the song! how perfect because it is so true. I will cherish my firewire cables because i have experienced what a pain using USB 2.0 is when synching my 60gig ipod photo. What made me smile was the song because it started to remind me of the time when I went to a strip joint in durban. wicked stuff. Can't get the images and the song out of my head. thanks to whoever made the video.

Logic 3's Valve80 brings that tubular sound to the iPod {Engadget}

Nov 16th 2008 12:43PM Are they serious? the only company that I would consider for 'tubes' is fatman. logic 3 getting into it seems a big joke to me. Looking at the images, the product seems poor.
