Walmart to rival Best Buy's Geek Squad with own in-home install crew {Engadget}

Oct 25th 2009 11:08PM I'm too lazy to read the above comments all the way through so I do not know if anyone touched on this, but WalMart is also getting in house tech support services very similar to geek squad. Also, they are getting a service where you can return used video games in a RedBox type of device for some WalMart store credit. I do not have any kind of official source, that is just what I have found out while poking around in the computers in Electronics (I work there if that helps...).

LG GD910 Watch Phone review {Engadget}

Oct 17th 2009 11:17PM OMG!!! This phone reminded me of when I had a Siemens SL55 through AT&T. For a phone it was pretty friggin small and a slider. I quickly took a wristband and some velcro and turned it into a ghetto watch phone. Most people actually liked it as far as the general idea.

Archos5 Android PMP now on sale at Amazon {Engadget}

Oct 8th 2009 3:54PM The second these things finally go capacitive, I'm jumping on it! Always been a fan of Archos, just waiting for improved screens.

Software firm finds Windows 7 doesn't boot faster than Vista {Engadget}

Oct 8th 2009 3:51PM Wow...those are some horrid boot times. I'm running a 3 year old install of XP and it only takes me 29 seconds to be completely up and running. Maybe I'll wait a little bit before buying Windows 7 now. >.>

Is Opera cooking up "the next big thing" in mobile browsers? {Download Squad}

Sep 14th 2009 12:50AM Yeah, it really sucks for those of us with non touchscreens though. I just switched from a tilt to a samsung jack cuz my tilt went up in flames. Now I have to use Skyfire. The only thing Skyfire is missing is tabbed browsing.

Sep 13th 2009 10:03PM OMG! I've been using the betas so long that I haven't even been keeping track of the version numbers at all. Now that I think about it, I have been using the betas since back when I was driving a Semi truck, so 3 years at least! They need to hurry up and come out with a finalized version already!

Is Opera cooking up "the next big thing" in mobile browsers? {Download Squad}

Sep 13th 2009 12:02PM Okay, so to seriously answer the actual question posed by the author, I think Opera Mini is just fine. Opera Mobile, not so much. It has been in beta for a couple years now. They don't have the brains to make the beta available for NON touchscreen windows mobile phones. If it's going to be in beta so long, it better be damn good once they polish it up. Or maybe the announcement is for Opera Mobile 10 Beta! Alright! Going from one beta to another! But I really hope that is not the case.

Engadget's back to school giveaway, part one! {Engadget}

Aug 31st 2009 12:36PM I could seriously use a replacement for this busted old laptop I'm on now.

Unofficial Google Gears builds work in Firefox 3.5 {Download Squad}

Jul 10th 2009 9:41PM Gyaaaaa!!! Why did my name change?! Oh well...whatever.

Unofficial Google Gears builds work in Firefox 3.5 {Download Squad}

Jul 10th 2009 9:25PM Hmmm...I've never used the nightly tester tools, though I heard they do the same thing for the most part. I just know that going the about config route made everything work for me. The only minor issue I get is when restoring tabs. A box pops up and I click try again and everything works after that.
