Rumor: Apple shot ad for unreleased product {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Aug 12th 2009 9:04PM One thing that I'm surprised I haven't read about it the possibility of The Beatles coming to iTunes. Remember, September 9th a big day for The Beatles already with Beatles Rock Band being released, along with remasters of all their albums. I can see an Apple event on September 7th/8th with new ipod announcements, Beatles in iTunes, iTunes 9. Anyone else think it's a possibility?
Palm complains about Apple to USB governing body, while Pre / iTunes sync "fix" is explained {Engadget}
Jul 24th 2009 6:37PM I don't blame Apple for doing what they are doing. It is their software, and it is designed to be used with their devices, and their devices only. Other manufacturers have their own software, and some just rely on the device to be used as a mass storage device. Palm needs to either develop their own software, or pay Apple for the rights to use itunes with the Pre.
As for Linux users, I understand that you would like to use your ipod/iphone with Linux. A quick check on the ipod/iphone specs on Apple's website show requirements for Windows and OSX, not Linux. You knew before buying your ipod/iphone that the product was not supported in Linux.
Yes, I know you're tied to itunes. Which, to me, isn't that big of a deal. It's much better than Windows Media Player has ever been. As for Microsoft's issues with IE being bundled with Windows, that's a bunch of crap. Apple has Safari bundled with OSX, so what's the difference there? If the end user doesn't want to use IE, than installed Firefox or Opera. (Same goes with OSX users.)

Jun 23rd 2009 4:25PM Isn't the Sony P series basicalyl a netbook with a notebook price? It starts at $899 for a "notebook" with an 8" screen!
Trent Reznor rips Apple, rates smartphone OSes {Engadget}
May 4th 2009 12:30PM Agreed! Just like we have rating systems for movies and games and "parental advisory" labels on cd's that are "explicit', they should do the same thing with these apps. Maybe an age verification system like one that is used to watch an R rate movie or game trailer. Type in your birthdate, if you're of age, download the app.

Netflix headed for the Wii? {Engadget HD}
Mar 22nd 2009 1:11AM If this happens, it's a step in the right direction for Nintendo. The Wii's user base consists of a lot of people and familys who aren't as interested in HD movies as people like us. I may not choose to stream Netflix on my Wii (I'll stick to my Blu-Ray movies), but I think it's a step in the right direction. Now...how about that storage problem......?????
Nintendo announces DSi with dual cameras, "DSi Shop" content store (updated) {Engadget}
Oct 2nd 2008 12:04PM Good question...I would assume they would include WPA/WPA2 this time around since the Wii supports it.
Is MOJO HD on the verge of shutting down? {Engadget HD}
Sep 18th 2008 3:11PM I used to enjoy live out-of-market baseball & basketball games on INHD. Mainly....the Red Sox vs. Yankees games. It was almost a guarantee that they would show their games. Once it became MOJO, it just went down hill. But...that's just my opinion!
Verizon Blackberry Storm talking points slip out {Engadget}
Sep 15th 2008 12:38PM At Jubei: I'm not pro anyone. I'm a fan of all technology companies, but wouldn't Apple be a "me too" player considering that they're copying Nintendo's ideas by using a touch screen and gryroscopes for gameplay?
Nintendo re-launching GameCube controller... in Japan {Engadget}
Apr 9th 2008 11:25PM Any chance that this would plug into the Wiimote instead of the Wii? Why even bother releasing a "new" GC controller with a longer wire? Bring on the white wavebird-that-plugs-into-the-Wiimote!
