Jun 6th 2008 3:08PM i've bitched about this problem on AVS already. it's been going on for nearly a week and TBS, so far is the only channel pausing shows to promote a piece of shit show. other channels like TNT and NBC have these massive ads that take up the bottom third of the screen while FX has ads on the bottom right corner (1/4 of the screen) complete with animations and sounds (for example, the promos for Damages, Nip/Tuck, and Rescue Me). i'm paying $117 a month for TV shows, not fucking commercials!!! especially not commercials during shows!!!
and as for engadget, you guys should have put up an option that said "all of the above" or something similar.

May 6th 2008 1:46PM wow. ballmer and MS is going to screw over yahoo. they were willing to pay $33 a share for stocks worth only $27. yahoo will be lucky enough to get $25 a share from MS after that 20% plunge yahoo took yesterday (making the stocks about $21.60).
i have a feeling we won't be hearing about jerry yang anymore. well, maybe one last story *cough* firing *cough*.

Apr 30th 2008 2:06PM you're kidding right? have you ever tried the mystro software. it's craptastic! it's slow to respond when changing channels. the on demand channels take upto one minute to load, the picture breaks up (pixelates) or the box freezes completely requiring a restart which takes between 10 and 15 minutes (literally.)
