Nov 30th 2006 7:53PM I wouldn't say shock and awe. More like now I'm really confused about what the whole component comment is about. And I guess 1080p over component isn't very useful if no 1080p tv (not many) will accept the signal. I had a little respect for MS when they were sticking to their guns about the High Def drive and the 1080p thing. They said it wasn't useful or necessary. Now they have both. I guess Sony and MS are both capable of BS (I had a monitor all ready to go for that second HDMI output!).
Oh and Jesus, the PS3 would look like ass on your 9" black-n-white. Just like Coleco Vision would.

Nov 8th 2006 2:54PM Three Sheets is one of my favorite shows on TV. Zane Lamprey is hilarious...and drunk. I'm all for opening up some bandwidth for another HD channel (Nat. Geo., Not MTV)for some different programming. My only beef is that INHD (and other channels) needs to do a better job tagging it's shows as new or repeats. My DVR keeps getting filled up with repeats even though I set it to only record new episodes.

Nov 5th 2006 8:05PM $20-$30 is too much? SD DVD's still run around $20 (after the first week). Should HD and BD movies cost less than those? I can't wait to have High Def movies to play on my HD tv. Upconversion is nice but after watching INHD and then watching a DVD on my Oppo, I am still disappointed in the picture quality. Why does everybody act like new technology has never been expensive? Eventually the price will go down and everybody can complain about the prices of Super HD when that arrives, and forget about the introductory prices of the current HD. If you don't want to pay $20-$30 for a movie, rent it.
