Mar 4th 2008 12:38PM I hate that you keep referring to HD DVD as worthless. It isn't. It still has a lot of good features and capabilities in it, even if Blu-Ray won the media format war. Full adoption of Blu-Ray for all forms of media and data storage won't be universally accepted for a while. And I don't see any immediate plans to start selling computer games in Blu-Ray format anytime soon. Selling a HD-DVD drive standard in a computer that will probably only be used for 3 to maybe 4 years average for gaming is not a bad thing. As it is, if I were purchasing a gaming laptop (right now), I wouldn't mind upgrading to a disc burner that can record that much information on a single disc (dual layer or not). Talk about being able to store data easily. I'm really getting sick of your site's blatant bias and am beginning to consider getting my HD news elsewhere.

Nov 1st 2007 3:42PM John B, I believe you may be in luck as a federal bill was passed that goes into effect next month that makes it illegal for cable companies to hold a monopoly over apartment buildings or regional areas. It may just help some to push toward more change with other "laws" that limit access to services.

Oct 18th 2007 6:18PM I would love to have win this system. :( Having an HDTV but not being able to afford an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player or HD cable television.. the TV isn't much use to me right now other than looking cool in my room while it sits unused.

Nov 21st 2006 5:23PM I will be using all three consoles. The PS3 and the xbox 360 first. and then the Wii.
Its a combination of all the consoles my apartment mates and I own.
Me: Xbox 360
Friend1: PS3
Friend2: Wii
Only thing we are missing is a kick-a** HDTV. :)
