I have a 3 out a time plan (which i will never change because i am grandfathered in on an old employee accommodation from a retailer) - i rent maybe 4 discs a month from them...
my friend who has the same plan, rents 20 discs a month from them...
i will get a new release or hard to get title more often, because if i want to rent it, then its one of few.... if he has to wait a week, he'll have plenty of other stuff to watch...
this system is needed for them to accurately do business.
no harm no foul here people... move along.

both these movies are in genres good for blu - both looked good, both were decent flicks, and both did alright at the box office all things considered....

which basically means - it all depends on sale price, movie, reviews of disc (is it just ok, or mind blowing), extra features, will i watch it now or put it on the shelf...

May 28th 2008 4:27PM this very well could be true - dvd saturation is extremely high, people have or are getting hdtv, and despite all these reports the last few months about how few stand alone units BR is selling - my store is consistently sold out of all brands... and im in a big store... so... if the inventory is going to be free-flowing, then the sales will be too.
