Aug 27th 2009 11:40AM Any chance of the Grande Punto coming to america? Would love to see that car here! Don't know if the quality is there but it's the kind of car I would like to have from a design point of view.

Aug 24th 2009 12:45PM What's the gas mileage? The same? Or are they even bothering?

Jul 20th 2009 11:42AM One of the ugliest designs in my lifetime that I will never forget. What were the designers at GM smoking and what was management snorting? The fact that some people actually bought this thing really stuns me. Hope future designers study this and learn what not to do. Definitely a Hall of Shamer!

GM CEO: we goofed, now let's move forward {Autoblog Green}

Jun 4th 2009 10:57AM I don't know if people will demand fuel efficient vehicles but I do know that if the option is there people will start to veer toward them...especially since gas is already up, which generally sucks since it was a little below 2 bucks for a little while. But Gas is going to go up, no doubt about it. The oil cartel is going to push the boundary of pricing without breaking economies... and they've admitted as much. For all those people who just bought new SUV's good luck!

REPORT: CAFE fuel economy standards to rise 8% by 2011 {Autoblog}

Mar 27th 2009 11:25AM To all those gearheads out there, is it really that difficult to increase MPG on a gasoline ICE driven car without creating a hybrid or switching to diesel? The Tech has been around for over 100 years and I find it surprising that improving the MPG is so complicated. Granted we have improved the efficiency, horsepower and reliability for the gas ICE, but the MPG seems that much more difficult? Can the gas ICE be further improved or have we reached the limits as far as MPG's are concerned for the gas ICE?

New VW Golf GTD to debut in April, Rabbit GTD to follow for U.S.? {Autoblog Green}

Mar 24th 2009 11:06AM I understand the advantages of diesels but are those pumps prevalent all over the country? I live in New York and I can remember seeing one pump in all the gas stations I go to here. Is it more widespread in, let say, Idaho?

Engadget's recession antidote: win a Prestigo SR-M8015 remote control tablet! {Engadget}

Feb 26th 2009 5:06PM UMMM it's kind of not that great looking but I've got another Philips remote and love it so this must be pretty good. OK I'm in!!!

By the way if they want to fix the economy why not just give million to each tax paying person in America. Even after Fed and State taxes that would you leave each person with about 700,000 each. Once that down everyone can pay down their debt, repay loans, go on shopping sprees, and establish savings for most people in this country. If that can't revitalize the economy I don't know what can!!

VIZIO steamrolls Q4, breaks all kinds of records {Engadget HD}

Feb 20th 2009 10:44AM I know the specs on most Vizios don't compare to the top brands like Sony and Samsung, but everyone I know who has a Vizio is quite happy.

Not everyone needs the latest and greatest. And the new Vizios that just came out have really nice pictures. They are good TV's for people on a budget.

And I have to admit but The top brands do charge a slight premium, especially brands like Sony and Pioneer who are the biggest culprits. With Pioneer quitting the plasma business and Sony taking huge losses, well like my dad says, "you can only charge so much before you break the customers bank".

To me if Vizio can maintain and improve quality while extending it's warranty they could be the company to beat in this recession period.
