Sony Pearl VPL-VW50 1080p SXRD projector shown, dated and priced in Japan {Engadget HD}

Sep 21st 2006 5:28PM 900 lumens, WHO CARES. Unless you're in a pitch black room it's no good. Even in a pitch black room that's not that good. I have a 2200 lumen projector and I still wish I had more lumens. Great contrast ratio though.
