Sep 17th 2008 4:34PM The problem isn't that there's no market for it. The problem is that people willing to pay will already have a TiVo, DVR from their satellite provider, or they'll build their own. They're willing to pay!
However, I suspect the vast majority of people that exclusively have OTA HD aren't willing to pay any more for their TV viewing pleasure. It's the same reason they don't have satellite or cable. ..

Jul 17th 2008 10:09AM I'm so glad this feature finally arrived! I've been downloading YouTube videos, transcoding them, and transferring them to my TiVo for way too long. All that just so my friends could see a lizard jump on a reporter. . .

Jul 16th 2008 5:03PM I'd be tempted to switch to them but I love my TiVoHD too much to do it. If nothing else, maybe this will put pressure on Time Warner to finally settle the rebroadcasting rights issue for WDTN with Lin TV. Here's hoping...
