Ask TUAW: Finder annoyances, backing up a MacBook, recovering data from an iPod on Windows and more {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Mar 4th 2009 3:02PM Been there, tried that.. iDefrag was a waste of money for me.. I hadn't heard of Drive Genius or th ProTools, and i passsed on "buying" another app in SuperDuper, but I'll give it a shot if the cloning is included in the free version.. Only probelm (question?) with that is does the external have to be empty and formatted for Mac to back it up or can i use a windows networked (non-empty) HDD?
Thanks

Sep 5th 2007 12:53PM They don't need a browser. All MS has to do is give us Remote Desktop back to a PC on a network.
FULL PC control
No need to keep adding useless junk to the box. Make the PC be the PC, not my 360. Of course, users may still need a mouse..

Apr 18th 2007 10:03AM Acer? used to have a monitor with a built-in card reader for this very purpose.
Said card reader worked without a PC turned on.
Just add this functionally to a some of the existing monitors, I say.

Mar 23rd 2007 3:55PM I use iTunes, I own an Ipod, this is still overpriced and underwhelming..
Photos aren't that big of a deal (from this thing) as I have a couple of photo frames and 2 tvs that have usb ports for this sort of thing.
Also, I listen to music via my SONOS sytem. Now that's not the norm ( I agree), but I own a front projector and I'd be damned to use that just so I can see what playing or to select something music related.
