(1) DirecTV will finally complete their MPEG4 HD technolology, have HDDVR hardware and a package people can understand.
(2) Movies over the internet - evein in 1080p will be commonplace.
(3) Intel+Apple+Google will announce a jointly developed Media Center platform that will take the market by storm.
(4) TiVO will be acquired by Google.
(5) I'll finally stop deliberating and buy a DSLR camera.

What you need to know about DIRECTV's MPEG-4 equipment {Engadget HD}
Dec 27th 2005 6:09PM Frustrating to figure out just exactly what DirecTV has to offer in High Def. They now have CBS, NBC, Fox in Dallas transmitted via satellite using MPEG4 but they say they don't have a HD-DVR that handles MPEG4. WHo in there right mind not do DVR?? :-)
I would go with Comcast but they do not offer LOGO. It's a gay oriented channel but you know us homo's, we need our gay programming .. !!
