Panasonic's latest 103-inch 1080p plasma: step aside oil barons, this one's headed home {Engadget}
Aug 26th 2008 7:19PM I do agree that 50*2=100, but you have to remember that this is not a one dimensional line.
You need Four (Yes, count 'em, four) 50-inch TVs to equal the area of a 100-inch TV. Two across and two high.
I'd say that if you need 4 50" TVs to equal the viewing area of one 100" TV, then the 100-inch TV is, in fact, four times the size.
You owe Spinner an apology.

Aug 4th 2008 1:50PM What makes a TAG watch worth 20 times ones you buy at Wal-Mart?
Don't they both tell time? Aren't they both water-resistant?
Why is it so hard to understand why that same mark-up could be applied to a cell phone?
I just doubt there's much of a market for this - Could it be that they're just trying to prop upi their watch brand?

Video: ReWalk exoskeleton helps paraplegics walk {Engadget}
Jul 22nd 2008 12:06PM Great idea. I'd think that a second set of controls in the handles of the crutches would make it easier to adjust.
And to Michael- Parapalegics drive cars all the time - That's nothing new. Hand conrols are common. The nice thing is that the car would require FAR less modification than for someone using a wheelchair.
