Iwata: iPhone not a threat {DS Fanboy}

Jul 23rd 2008 5:47PM I've played a few games on my iPod touch, and they're quite good. But I'm certainly not about to get rid of my Nintendo DS to play games on it, and I imagine iPhone users (who are using it as a phone) are even less likely to, since they'd probably appreciate having enough power to make phone calls.

Totem Destroyer - Time Waster {Download Squad}

Jul 23rd 2008 5:24PM I played this game for at least an hour one day... it's quite fun.

Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth: We can surpass Apple in two years {Download Squad}

Jul 23rd 2008 4:04PM I can see a lot of the "looking better than OS X" coming out as "let's just copy things from OS X."

It's just like people have done before with Windows.

Nintendo loses another round in controller patent lawsuit {Engadget}

Jul 23rd 2008 1:22PM It seems like this would have come up back in 2001, when the GameCube controller was released...

SlyDial: Leave voicemail without actually having to talk to anyone {Download Squad}

Jul 22nd 2008 2:08PM I don't know about other providers, but with Verizon Wireless, you can dial into your own voicemail, select 4, and leave a voicemail that way.

Ad: PSP makes being arrested so much more fun {PSP Fanboy}

Jul 22nd 2008 1:39PM Nintendo ran an advert for the Game Boy Advance SP with a guy lying in bed, playing his Game Boy, and a girl sleeping next to him.

It didn't show off the games (and there's no shortage of great games), it just had one line "The second best thing to do in the dark."

Born for Wii: Four Swords Adventures {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}

Jul 22nd 2008 1:25PM I found the Tingle Tuner fairly useful. I didn't use it often, because I forgot about it, but when I had it out it was a helpful tool.

Born for Wii: Four Swords Adventures {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}

Jul 22nd 2008 1:20PM For me, Four Swords Adventures was all about the Game Boy Advance connectivity. Going into a house, and then having Link appear on the Game Boy was just exciting.

With four players, it would be very difficult not to have the extra screen.

Moralize.us: if YouTube commenters ruled the world ... {Download Squad}

Jul 21st 2008 10:09PM I don't like the site. The questions are all "is it right," when some of them aren't right, and they aren't wrong. It's the wording of the question.

DS Daily: This fall {DS Fanboy}

Jul 21st 2008 7:38PM TGS is where the Wii remote was first shown, so a DS redesign isn't out of the question.

I don't think it'll happen, but if they were making one, it could appear.
