TiVo HD upgrade program helps you save as much as $100 {Engadget HD}

Jul 2nd 2009 3:44PM Dudes
if you have an S2 (like i do) and have had it longer than 3 years (and we have) - you can get an HDTiVo w/a lifetime subscription for $500. You get a $100 discount off the HDTivo and $100 off the lifetime service. I just put it in my 'cart' to see what options I'd have.
Now you know - shop accordingly.

That's my complaint - to use the 3d w/a BD player and not have to hook up a PC to it.

Jul 2nd 2009 12:43PM I have a 73" 3D 'ready' mitsubishi that i have YET to find out how to use it! I'd love it if they could get the 3D information on how to use it (for like the Coraline BD that's coming out)!!!

Popcorn Hour prices C-200 media streamer at $299, launches next month {Engadget HD}

Jun 18th 2009 10:24AM Why do you need a BD iso when you use ToNMT and AnyDVD-HD software to rip perfect .ts or .m2ts file (which is what I do) and my HDDVD's are ripped too!

PopcornHour's latest C-200 media box is Blu-ray (& anything else) ready {Engadget HD}

Jun 17th 2009 10:57AM I just use the left and right directional buttons to move forward or back in 30 second increments - either 30 seconds at once or hold it down and watch it count up/down in 30 second intervals and when i'm forward/reverse about how far i want I let it go. You don't 'see' the movie when doing this real-time but that's not a big deal. I also like the 'percentage' jumps too.

Jun 16th 2009 4:30PM No thanks. I've had my A110 for about a month, have a PS3 for BD playback, rip BDs & HDDVDs to stream through it. I do wish it had a fan since it's very hot (even tith the 1TB WD Green drive inside).

How do you like your TiVo, with bleeps & bloops or without? {Engadget HD}

May 18th 2009 11:03AM That annoying sound is turned off on all 4 of my TiVo's
