Ask Engadget HD: What's the best HTIB system? {Engadget HD}

Aug 7th 2008 12:37PM You have gotta give us a price range man!

I would go for a Klipsch Quintet system - while its not technically a HTIB - it’s the size of one and has the sound to back it up. You should be able to assemble a system for under $1K if you look in the right places.

As far as the cheapo HTIB packages already out there with one price tag (which you won't be doing your Bluray justice with).

I would recommend something by Yamaha - no tinny sonys for me.

I started w/Quintets and got hooked - now have a fully built Yamaha powered RF-82 setup that I love!

Logitech's MX Revolution goes Bluetooth at the FCC {Engadget}

Mar 28th 2008 12:03PM I disagree - I have a VX400 or whatever their latest bluetooth mouse is and there it works great with my macbook without a usb dongle. Ive got a MX rev right now for my desktop and I love it - I would definitley spring for the bluetooth version over the wireless mightly mouse I have now - its OK - but definitley not as fast as a MX revolution.

Series 3 to be released September 17th, for $799? {Engadget HD}

Aug 29th 2006 9:33AM Tivos are "Price Protected" just like Bose and Apple - they are the same price everywhere. They wont be discounted untill Tivo allows it. I dont know where you got that cost number... its wrong.
