May 9th 2009 3:33PM Still using a 40 inch Sony tube hdtv bought in 2001. Even though it's only 1080i, I have yet to see any technology that looks this good. Plasmas are very nice, but certainly not better. I'd probably buy one and keep the crt around for another room if I had the money laying around, or better yet, a projector. It's nice not being under the gun right now. I bought the 19 inch Sony in my bedroom in 1988. So if that's any guide, the big Sony still has another 13+ years of life in it. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm in no rush to spend money on another TV.

Jan 12th 2009 5:23PM Because the PS3 can't record hd from cable, satellite, or ota. The PC needs to get the content from somewhere, before it can stream anything.
