Mar 22nd 2008 3:50AM Allen, F1 races are not produced in HD. If you're watching them on SpeedHD, you're getting widescreen upconverted 576i. It looks very good but is not HD.
Plus, why the need to slam NASCAR? It gets excellent ratings nationwide. The ratings have been up for every race this year. I'm a New Yorker born and raised and I love NASCAR and F1. And IndyCar. And ARCA. And ALMS. And Rolex. And Aussie V8 Supercar. And DTM etc. Full disclosure, I grew up just down the road from Watkins Glen.

Feb 8th 2008 2:56AM I was in my local Cox office in Warwick, RI a couple weeks ago returning my two STBs (I just switched to DirecTV) and they had stacks and stacks of what looked to be Moto 6416s. They were all in plastic bags and looked to be ready for distribution.
Dish Network adds NHL HD to their lineup {Engadget HD}
Oct 20th 2007 3:27AM We've had NHL Net SD for a couple weeks now via Cox Cable in Rhode Island. We just got the HD version this week but I have yet to see any HD content. Like the NFL network, all studio segments are SD (c'mon guys). The live games will be HD if available but the one they are promoting now doesn't air until next Friday. Canadian readers can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this network is being produced by TSN.

Oct 12th 2007 1:55AM We've had this channel via Cox Cable in Rhode Island since last week. It's SD only here so far. The only problem is there is no program data. The guide just says 'NHL Network' with no differentiation of programming. Don't know if that is the network's fault or Cox.

Nov 25th 2006 4:42AM Deidre, I think it's unfair to call Jonathan a rat. What he is guilty of is having a blind spot for Candice who has tried to throw him under the bus at every turn. Jonathan would not have jumped to Raro had Candice not jumped first. He still waited to the very last second before going. It appears from next week's previews that he has finally figured out that she's not an ally.
I don't know what it is about Candice but she got to Billy, Adam, and Jonathan. IMHO she's not very good looking in relative Survivor terms.
Nate just wasn't a good player and neither is Adam. If a challenge wasn't just about brute strength, they just didn't do very well. Nate got what he deserved and Adam is next.
