Apr 9th 2009 12:18PM It's not a 'dumb, dumb controversy.' Some people found it offensive and don't want that kind of stuff in their games. If nobody cared, there wouldn't have been a controversy.
IMHO, it's one more way the games industry seems to perpetually move toward catering to the lowest common denominator and exploiting and glorifying the basest parts of society.

Mar 6th 2009 11:40AM I'm with you. What's with the constant drive of the games industry to aim for the lowest possible, most exploitive stuff? I've been IN the gaming industry for more than a decade, and I find it embarrassing and juvenile.

Mar 3rd 2009 11:22AM I hate to be negative, but I find the whole Watchmen phenom to be over-hyped and overrated. Yes, I've read the graphic novel. I just get the feeling that people like it because their 'supposed' to like it. For me, the emperor has no clothes. My 2 cents.

Mar 3rd 2009 12:52AM I was always partial to building a castle next to the enemy's town center in Age of Empires. I guess you could call that the "Citizen Grinder" manuever.
