Aug 28th 2008 10:17PM So plasma isn't good to watch 4:3 content without stretching? That would be a deal breaker. Too many shows aren't available in widescreen. Plus, aren't 16:9 movies putting a black bar on the top and bottom also?
I remember watching shows with 20K plasmas years back that had crazy burn in from the background they used.

Jul 25th 2008 11:28AM I watched one of those crappy making of things on TV back in the day that said that hoverboards were a real toy that was recalled after poor sales. I hate that guy to this day.
I even imagined special skating rinks (hey it was the 80's!) that had a magnetic floor that repelled the board. It would be difficult to keep the board from flipping over though.

Jul 21st 2008 4:31PM Yeah I have a hard time justifying any Blu ray purchase. I held off before hi def formats came out and now I'm finding Netflix is sufficient for all my movies needs at a fraction of the price (I did just go see Dark Knight though so I'm not that frugal).
