Jan 31st 2007 3:49PM Not sure how this is news. I tried one of these 3 months ago with google wifi in mtn view. It definitely increased the range but not enough to connect to the free google network, but it did allow my PC to 'see' about 10 more of wireless access points in neighboring homes.
