Some more perspective on the DROID and multitouch {Engadget}
Nov 4th 2009 7:30PM I highly doubt that the lack of multitouch is because of patent issues. If that was the original concern then it should be gone now. If Apple does have a patent that covers the pinch to zoom, they haven't done anything to protect that patent in so many currently released products that if they finally decided to go after one, they wouldn't win just for the fact that they haven't protected the patent in other cases. If a company doesn't fight to protect a patent whenever it is infringed upon, it basically becomes invalid and they can't protect it in future situations.
Adobe lets you use Flash to create... non-Flash apps for the iPhone {Engadget}
Oct 5th 2009 7:56PM As a Flash developer, I would love to see this functionality on Android. I've wanted to build a couple of simple native Android Applications but don't have any experience at all with Java nor do I have a ton of time to learn it. If I could use my Flash skills to crank out some apps on the Android platform and put them into the market then I'd be extremely happy.
T-Mobile negotiating to expand 4G service, Catherine Zeta-Jones going door-to-door {Engadget}
Sep 23rd 2009 5:08PM I just got T-mobile 3G in my area (Provo, Utah) 2 days ago. So far it's been much faster than AT&T in my comparisons but the coverage area isn't near as big. It works in less places but when it works, it works well.

Sep 18th 2009 5:03PM I've been streaming Pandora on EDGE since the Android app came out and it actually works pretty well. About 5 seconds to buffer the first song and then after that there isn't any buffering. Web pages load up just fine as well. It's not 3G but for what I'm doing on my phone, EDGE is very usable.

Aug 13th 2009 4:03PM AVI isn't a codec. It's a format that can use many different codecs and supporting all of them isn't easy.

Is that really the best comparison that you could come up with? With robbing a bank it's done on a case by case basis. Someone doesn't rob every bank at the same time. When someone develops a virus they intend to inflict as much harm as possible with one attempt. Windows does have a larger market share. You don't see terrorists attacking small buildings with few people very often do you? It's because the impact isn't as large as taking out large venues with large amounts of people. The same with viruses. If someone can find a vulnerability in an operating system that is used by 90% of the world, they'll almost always choose that target over one that is 9% of the world.
