Driver trouble makes angry mobile owners rush castle HTC with burning torches {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 20th 2008 7:39AM @Navi

I don't think it's an issue with Qualcomm's chipset. Last I heard, there are devices out there that aren't manufactured by HTC, that have the 7200 Qualcomm chipset and aren't under-performing.

Palm, i-mate, others moving manufacturing contracts back to HTC? {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 19th 2008 4:02PM I meant I hope HTC writes those drivers, not Palm etc.! lol.

Jan 19th 2008 4:02PM Well, hopefully Palm and all those other manufacturers start paying attention to all the p*ssed off customers out there and write those damn video drivers.

Vista successor rumored to be on track for 2009 release {Engadget}

Jan 19th 2008 10:33AM I certainly ain't gonna pay (*wink*) for the next one. I paid over $300 for Vista and it did nothing but make my system look obsolete -- not because of low specs but because of poor hardware support.

Amazon: $129 Toshiba HD-A3 with 7 HD DVDs and free shipping {Engadget}

Jan 18th 2008 7:56AM That's right HD-DVD, cover up your inferiority with more FREE movies.

Maybe if you start giving away two dozen FREE movies and a mini shelf to store them on you'll be half at HOT as Blu-ray.

Dell's 24-inch 2408WFP monitor with DisplayPort (and everything else) now available {Engadget}

Jan 17th 2008 7:31PM Why low ranked? Do you p*ssies wanna hold technology back like the HD-DVD group does? :p

Samsung intros well-spec'd SyncMaster 2493HM / 2693HM LCD monitors {Engadget}

Jan 16th 2008 7:40PM Getting a little tired of dancing around these response times. Been waiting for ages for a 24 inch 1920x1200 with 4ms or less response (and no, not Viewsonic -- I've had bad experience with them).

HD DVD fires back, slashes hardware & software prices {Engadget}

Jan 14th 2008 8:09PM @John B

I'm pretty sure when they say it won't play movies in the near future, they mean NEW movies (in that studios will soon cease production of HD-DVDs in favor of Blu-ray).

Microsoft due for another round of EU antitrust probes {Engadget}

Jan 14th 2008 7:57PM The majority of the corporations the EU goes after are American. I reckon we should fight back or do the same to any European countries trying to expand into or do business with us.
