Feb 28th 2006 12:12PM The Levi's are PREMIUM. Yes, Levi's makes designer 501's. They are made with high quality denim and cost a lot more. $130 for premium denim is not ridiculous. Also, that is full retail. I know I never pay full retail for anything, like the $180 jeans I bought for $60 at the Saks outlet last week. Screw the name on the jeans, they are ridiculously comfy.
Also, I paid $90 for those 991's 4 years ago as a freshman on college and they still treat me well today. They are widely regarded as some of the most comfortable running shoes ever made. Worth the $$$.
I agree though, he does need a belt.
