Now that is what I call debunking and not just repeating what I said and adding your personal opinion. I was unaware of the poke-pull method that ActiveSync uses, it does however use SSL though, AES or 3DES would be much better, so we do get some form of encryption. It is however almost instantaneous when testing the device. All other email features that I have ever used on the BB are on the iPhone EXCEPT "Mark all as read" I do miss that option, though I can live without it.
Also I do not use Exchange as I feel it is the worst application ever developed with the best lock-in I have ever seen.

How is the push email using Exchange on the iPhone not secure? Then again how is push email on a Blackberry MORE secure? I have both, a new 3G and a BB Pearl. If want to talk about security RIM has access to ALL blackberry email if they need to access it for some "Homeland Security" reason.
Also how is Push email on a Blackberry better?

Jul 23rd 2008 11:06AM My PS3 plays PS2 games just fine and until I got about 4-5 PS3 games it actually mattered. However now it doesn't, I never play PS2 games anymore and most people I know with PS3's don't either.

DTS-HD Master Audio is literally bit-for-bit identical to the studio master recording and makes movie soundtracks and sound effects truly come to life. The technology delivers audio at the incredibly high rate of 24.5 mega-bits per second (Mbps) on Blu-ray disc, which is significantly higher than standard DVDs. DTS-HD Master Audio also offers 7.1 audio channels at 96k sampling frequency/24 bit depths, so you’ll be totally immersed in the sound. The firmware update will add DTS-HD High Resolution Audio as well, which is a similar output technology that requires less disc space. You can read more about both codecs here. "

Feb 22nd 2008 3:23PM I don't know if anyone has tackled this question yet, but there are too many different posts about the end of the war to read through all of them.
The 5 Free movie rebate, though it was obviously movies from 3rd party studios (duh), will it continue with any new or current sales of HD-DVD players? The retailers keep saying "Buy this player and receive X many movies free!"
People who have tried getting their free movies even before the war ended have been getting postcards saying "sorry for delay, yada yada." Now that the announcement is official is there anything in the offer term that says something similar to "Toshiba has the right to cancel this offer at anytime?"

Jan 30th 2008 10:13AM You do realize that a Codec has nothing to do with a disc format right?
And by that I mean if Microsoft created VC-2.1 it is not tied to either HD-DVD or Blu-ray but to file compression. Microsoft also "created" VC-1 only to realize that a majority of the code was either licensed or patented by others. VC-1 had to become a standard before other manufacturers, software companies and the like started implementing it.
The same shall happen here.
