Nov 24th 2008 4:17PM Man, if you finished Fable II in a week, you have WAAAAAY more gaming time than I do. Even if you blew through Albion in 20 hours, which meant you missed a LOT of content, that's 3 hours a day (roughly), every day.
I get about a third of that on average- most of which is on the weekends. I miss the good ole days of irresponsibility...

Nov 24th 2008 4:12PM Man, I hear this a lot, but my experience with Fable II so far (my 360 rrod'd, so I'm a little late in playing it) is in the range of 30 hours and I have more things to do now than ever. I'm guessing I'll be "finished" with the game around the 50-80 hour mark depending on how much side questing I do.
Short compared to Oblivion maybe, but hardly a short game.

Fake plastic instruments are not as durable as real instruments. There's a reason guitars are made of hardwood and drum hardware is made out of chrome plated steel.
If you want the quality and durability of the real deal, you're gonna pay out the @$$ for it.

Nov 18th 2008 1:00PM I'm not going to argue with your personal experience, but the 360 gamepad has been universally acclaimed (minus the D-pad) while the Dualshoack 3 is a decade old design with horrible ergonomics and even worse trigger buttons.
True, due to the fact that Sony hasn't changed its controller in over 10 years, people have grown accustomed to it, but I would be willing to bet that people who have never picked up a game controller would prefer the 360 pad over the PS3's.
All your other points I think are quite valid opinions.

Nov 2nd 2008 4:33PM Yes, they do suck, but not for releasing a patch that doesn't work on Macs. They suck for releasing a patch that doesn't work on CONSOLES. Shoot, if releasing software that isn't Mac compatible qualifies a company as sucking, the list would be endless. Red Octane just sucks because they released a broken product then required you to fix it through a separate platform.
