PSN boss disses Xbox Live's interface, game delisting {Joystiq}

Jul 3rd 2008 5:42PM No matter what, this is totally subjective. What someone else likes, doesn't necessarily mean it's what you like. It's merely the opinion of someone that works at Sony. I'm sure if you ask someone that works at Microsoft, big surprise, they'll probably say Xbox 360 Live has the best interface.

Whatever. Personally, I do like the 360 interface over others, but I do think there is room from improvement. There could be better organization of your own content, such as gamerpics for example.

And I always thought removal of any game content was a bad idea. If Microsoft was so concerned about quality, I'd much rather seem them NOT release questionable content, rather than release and remove. How Totemball got released escapes me.

Reflect table monitors conversations with LEDs, shows who's all talky {Engadget}

Jun 28th 2008 11:55PM Kinda seems like a rather lame and thinly veiled attempt to being back disco.

Universal exec sez Wanted:Blu-ray as The Matrix:DVD {Engadget HD}

Jun 28th 2008 6:41PM Wanted reminded me of the Matrix at times, but it's far more violent, and I doesn't strike me as mainstream. In fact, it's a little strange, but then again, the Matrix was out there at one time too, but where I bought into the Matrix from the get go and found it gripping from the first sequence, I cannot say the same about Wanted.

Wanted certainly carries a style, and is unflinching when it comes to getting shot, beat up, sliced or impaled. Blood spatters I believe in every situation involving action. And while there's great action, such as near the end, there's also some over the top situations getting there.

Would I run out to see Wanted again? Probably not. Would I catch it if it were on TV? Sure, but it would probably be heavily edited. Will it sell just as well as the Matrix? I'd be surprised if it did. It's an interesting movie with great action, but not a great movie.

PlayStation 3's cost to Sony so far: $3.32 billion {Joystiq}

Jun 24th 2008 11:06AM You are correct! This is why I always look at the financials whenever they're made available. As a whole Sony has 10 Billion dollars worth of debt right now, which is where they were last September. Part of the problem is their movie business is underperforming. The PS2 is in decline. So the PS3 must step up.

Call of Duty: World at War co-op multiplayer detailed {Joystiq}

Jun 23rd 2008 7:22PM Ok, if they have 16 player MULTIPLAYER, then I'm happy. I thought by the way it was written that they were ONLY going to offer [up to] 4 player multiplayer, which I could care less about.

Call of Duty: World at War is 'next-gen only baby!' {Joystiq}

Jun 23rd 2008 6:56PM Seriously, what's up with all the Call of Duty stories today!? I'm getting truly annoyed by this game and it isn't even out yet.

Call of Duty: World at War co-op multiplayer detailed {Joystiq}

Jun 23rd 2008 9:43AM I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this yet, but only 4 player online co-op? That's a little disappointing. My favorite feature about COD4 was all the online co-op modes and being able to play in large groups.

I was iffy on the title until now, and now I'm thinking pass.

Stargate-themed home theater saves you a trip to space {Engadget HD}

Jun 20th 2008 11:10AM Here's an example of an interesting idea gone wrong. Sure, create a Stargate themed room, but not at the expense of sacrificing the theater screen. Round screen? Sorry, once you cut off a significant portion or what you're displaying or shink it to fit that round screen, you've completely lost me. And what's the point of having a theater room anyway by that point? Own up to the fact you created a Stargate room for the purpose of having a Stargate room.

Podcast Rodeo for June 17: ... And Ear Back {Joystiq}

Jun 17th 2008 5:22PM Ugh. The one picture I hate more than anything. Please, I beg of you, anything, anything, but the old man.

Actually, it's not really the picture itself that bothers me, it's that it was so over used.

EA extends Take-Two offer to July 18 {Joystiq}

Jun 17th 2008 9:19AM Desperation.

EA just doesn't know when to give up. I still believe that Take Two can do better with anyone else.

It's over. Stop calling. Don't be a stalker.
