Apple updates $19 Remote, predictably coats it in aluminum {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 6:41PM This article will balance out when engadget does another article on some crappy phone that looks like an iPod that nobody will ever buy.

Apple updates $19 Remote, predictably coats it in aluminum {Engadget}

Oct 20th 2009 6:37PM Most likely the thing is so small and thin that apple added length to it so that it was more comfortable to hold in the hand. We all don't have baby hands to hold something the size of the shuffle.

I would like to see this in a comparison with the old remote to get a sense of any size differences. I would guess its not any longer than the original, just thinner.

Oct 20th 2009 6:32PM I agree. I have a Mac Pro. You would think apple would give you the option to add on a few bucks to the already premium price of the Mac Pro to install an IR sensor with the airport and bluetooth. Or I don't know, just make the remote use bluetooth or wifi...make a remote that EVERYONE of your products can use.

I'm thinking though that its because the Mac Pro doesn't support the latest version of Front Row? or is that only the apple TV?

Swag Saturday: Guitar Hero 5 with Logitech Wireless Drums (PS3) {Joystiq}

Oct 4th 2009 2:33AM I'll be rocking out by playing brutal legend.

Video: Takeshi Maeda's OmniZero.9 robot transforms, carries creator, blows minds {Engadget}

Sep 28th 2009 4:05PM I like how it slams its face into the ramp in order to transform. If it walked a bit more like the ASIMO, This would be even more epic. But man, just add a transforming sound and this is good to go!

Honda's U3-X Personal Mobility Device is the Segway of unicycles {Engadget}

Sep 24th 2009 12:42AM This gets rid of my biggest gripe with the Segway-having to stand up! Standing while moving is for suckers!

Seriously though, this would be perfect for people who commute to work, but don't go very far for lunch destinations. Just keep U3-X in your trunk and zoom on over to a spot nearby. You can save a lot of gas by not having to drive in stop and go traffic during lunch hours.

I can't tell by watching this video, but I think it might need some more power. And lets be honest, here in america that seat will need to be bigger also.

RealD figures designer glasses might help the acceptance of 3D {Engadget HD}

Sep 18th 2009 4:27PM so I have some Oakley polarized glasses, does that mean I can wear those in the theater? If I can, that would be great. I can just walk in and never take my sunglasses off!

The Engadget Show - 001: Jon Rubinstein, Bit Shifter, iPod event, Moto CLIQ, N900 {Engadget}

Sep 17th 2009 7:20PM the intro visuals look like the Snow Leopard welcome video and a zune advertisement had sex. I like it!

PSP Minis on UMD 'real possibility,' could appear on PS3, Sony says {Joystiq}

Sep 13th 2009 6:41PM Mega Minis! As an iphone user i have come to love great games that can be played in short game sessions. I don't own a PSP, but I do have a PS3. A small simple game would totally be up my alley.

I just hope there isn't a million tower defense games.

Lexus LF-Ch concept wants to bring Prius hybrid utility to sporty hatchbacks {Engadget}

Sep 11th 2009 3:54PM @sam

How is this a Venza rebadge? A Venza is a full sized wagon more comparable to a Camry wagon. If this is supposed to be similar to a BMW 1 Series, then this thing is very small. As you can see its only a 2 door, and not a 4 door.

I am very excited for something like this coming from Lexus. I really like the 1 Series, but if Lexus can come up with something that has decent performance and is also a hybrid like this claims, I'm all for it.
