Nov 12th 2008 5:36PM I am not liking the changes either. Looking at what Siruis is offering on XM now...NFL, NASCAR, Howard Stern...yeah, that's why I did not subscribe to Sirius to begin with. Anyone else notice there seems to be a lot more talking on the music stations? I am paying for the music, not some banal commentary on the musician's sex life. And I don't know what Tony Hawk is selling...and I don't care. Each time that spot starts, I change the channel.

Oct 25th 2008 3:02PM Cox has added a trickle of HD stations, but most of them don't have HD content anyway. What's the point of saying HD if there is nothing on the station actually in HD? I use OTA for locals since I prefer the Boston stations over Providence. It's also very interesting to switch between the HD cable feed and the OTA feed during the same show. The difference is obvious. I doubt the average viewer even notices (or cares). If FIOS ever gets to my area, I would give it serious consideration.
Lenovo S10 delayed two months? {Engadget}
Oct 7th 2008 5:33PM Received mine today. Originally scheduled to ship 9/24...Lenovo changed to 10/22...then shipped on 10/3. Whatever! It's here. So far pretty nice. Upgraded RAM to 2GB. Seems very quick. We'll see what it's like after I install Office and all my work apps. I'll miss my Samsung Q1 touchscreen...

Jun 16th 2008 8:42AM Yes, in the emails from Cox a few weeks ago they listed Lifetime HD, which had popped up a few days prior. Their HD quality is so poor now, it makes me wonder how much worse this will make it. I had out of state friends visiting Friday. At one point the RI local commercials were just too much to take so I flipped to the OTA for the Boston feed. They immediately said, "What did you do? It looks so much better!" Yeah...I wish FIOS would hurry up with their build out...
