Live NFL broadcast to air in 3D as "proof of concept" {Engadget}

Nov 24th 2008 1:37PM Besides, do you really want those rivals' fans in one theater? The Raiders fans have a habit of getting stabby.

Launch of Sirius XM iPhone app 'StarPlayr' coming soon? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 21st 2008 11:51PM Yeah, but it's too bad they removed all the diversity of the content last week, especially coming from the XM side of the changes. I don't see any need for an app like this anymore, I'd rather cancel my sub and put the $13 a month towards a Slacker, and split my time between it and my iPod. The new channels brought over from the Sirius side suck. Alt Nation sounds like a CD that's skipping, and it's been doing it for over a full day now.

Goodbye, FireWire 400 {Engadget}

Nov 17th 2008 4:52PM Yeah, the downloaded version would be great. I'll get back to you in two weeks when Hulk finishes downloading to my PS3 in HD.

PS3 chatpad officially coming in December {PS3 Fanboy}

Nov 15th 2008 1:36AM Actually, one of these that would attach to a freakin' Rock Band guitar would sell a million.

Circuit City's Black Friday deals leak, no word on if it'll be open to sell things {Engadget}

Nov 14th 2008 1:46PM They should be good through at least the end of the year, since they got that infusion of cash from B of A earlier this week...

Is your Roku Netflix Player stuck on one-dot streaming? {Engadget}

Nov 13th 2008 2:51PM Yep, news like this definitely means the death of Blu-Ray...

What happens when you cross Mainichi Issho and Hot Shots Golf? {PS3 Fanboy}

Nov 13th 2008 12:16AM That's what's kept me from getting the new HSG. I really liked the mini golf in the last one, since for some reason mini golf is the one thing that NOBODY can do even a halfway decent job on. It's either boring or impossible. But HSG4 had a good mix of technical and 'fun' holes, even without any castles or spirals.

XM and Sirius channels merge at long last {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2008 3:38PM It's not about 'net loss', it's about losing what we like! Of the three channels I listen to 95% of the time, one was dropped (the System) and the other two replaced (Lucy and Ethel). And I don't like what they were replaced with.

If anything, Slacker's the beneficiary of this boneheaded move. I've had coworkers that I didn't even know had satrad complaining about what happened, since they didn't know it was coming.

XM and Sirius channels merge at long last {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2008 3:35PM Between this and the 'Best Of' packages, there's no real reason to have dual subs any more though...

XM and Sirius channels merge at long last {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2008 3:34PM Sirius' playlists aren't much deeper than that, and that's why most XM subscribers are mad about this (not to mention the fact that XM didn't announce this officially until yesterday at about noon, and Sirius subscribers apparently didn't find anything out until it all changed at midnight... though rumors had been rampant for weeks.)

A lot of people are mad, especially since it was said during the merger talks that this WOULD NOT happen.
