Nov 6th 2008 8:57AM The Eee 901 has a mini pci-e header labeled "3g" inside. You just need to solder on the connector. There are also solder pads to attach the sim card slot. You can dremel a little slot under the battery for easy sim access. It takes a little bit of know-how (and a voided warranty), but the 901 is completely internal-3g ready. The assumption is they are saving these features for a future revision.

Oct 31st 2008 9:37AM I agree... but if you got rid of the bezel I think a 10" screen would fit in the 90X form factor. I would take a bigger screen any day if it doesn't change the dimensions of the device.

Oct 24th 2008 12:29AM Eee 901 ftw. 6-cell battery, 1.3mp cam, Bluetooth, wireless N, 20GB SSD, large multi-touch trackpad. Price isn't as big of factor. Just ordered a new 901 from an authorized asus retailer on ebay for $285 shipped after coupon and cashback.

Oct 22nd 2008 4:32PM Buy them from someone (thats what I did since I was in the same situation). Just be sure to ask the duration left. The free alternative is get them with an alt, and mail them to your main. It took me a single AB and less then a stack of candy to get the achievement.

Oct 21st 2008 8:30AM People need to stop QQing about everything being too easy now. For many, this is a chance to get to see additional content before the expansion hits. My guild is a new guild of first time 70s. We are getting to try out new content we were previously undergeared for. If you are QQing about this, I expect you've gone 6/6 in Sunwell. And in that case, stop being such elitists and let the rest of us who havent been playing for 4 years get to enjoy that content. It's not a matter of only being able to do it on easy-mode. It's a matter of there not being enough time between now and the expansion. And if we waited till level 80, that would have REALLY been easy mode.
