Jul 26th 2006 4:22PM The PAL 576 line system used in European TVs has IMHO many advantages over the US/Asian NTSC 480 line system. For many people in the US the upgrade to 720/1080 is a very big step indeed. Maybe there is no demand due to the fact that many view the difference between 576 and 720 as not that great an advantage.
