Amazon Kindle 2 no longer rumored for this holiday season, according to rumor {Engadget}
Nov 25th 2008 12:59PM Kindle 2 is just as ugly as the first. Can a BILLION dollar company produce anything better looking than this? The buttons look like my cold medicine tablets.
Miyamoto's promise: Nintendo working on 'many' core games {Joystiq}
Oct 28th 2008 3:24PM I've had a Wii since day one and kinda feel ripped off. The games stink. I mean there are just a handful of great games. The rest are like a cheap gumball machine toy. Not to mention the lack of a real accurate Wiimote. The duck hunt gun from almost 25 years ago was more accurate than this Wiimote. This system belongs in the nursing homes.
LittleBigPlanet 1.02 patch removes Qur'an lyrics {Joystiq}
Oct 23rd 2008 4:02PM Why pander to Muslims by removing lyrics in a game? Do they do the same thing to games that offend Christians. Countless games take Jesus name in vain a zillion times. Do we need to walk on egg shells to keep from offending Muslims. I guess Sony thinks so because Muslims, unlike Christians will blow up the freaking game factories with suicide bombers. How many Muslims are playing this game in Iran or any middle east country for that matter?
Too good to be true: Wal-Mart cancels Brawl preorders {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}
Jan 13th 2008 8:42AM HERE'S THE REAL STORY
Walmart spends MILLIONS on these "Creative" teams to find new ways to increase revenue (like turning off store lights every 10 minutes, keeping the store temperature just above freezing, hiring crack addicts for min. wage, and best of all posting a HIGHLY anticipated game for $19.82...this was not a mistake because they put the game back to regular price at one point, then they switched it back again to $19.82. They know that many people will purchase something else in their shopping cart with that game. Then, they cancel the game but not the order for the other products. THUS, they got your money, made you a bit mad, but you WILL still shop at Walmart and they know this. Then the big execs with the $200k salaries sit back and laugh at all the poor little saps that didn't get their $20 smash brothers.
Have you ever looked around at the people that shop at Walmart. Do they shower, ever.......
iPhone firmware 1.1.3 leaked? {Engadget}
Dec 29th 2007 9:41AM Point 6# Flash in Safari
Apple would lose money as you would then be able to watch Full episodes of tv on the network's (ABC,NBC,CBS) website. All major networks offer a large selection of shows free in Flash on their site. This would cut into Apple's download profits from iTunes. Sorry, no flash anytime soon.
iPhone gets video recording capabilities {Engadget}
Dec 13th 2007 5:45PM You people think Apple is dumb or something, or you are smarter to come up with LOTS OF FEATURES that they somehow were too dumb to think of???
obviously the phone is capable of much more with current hardware but just giving all those features in a 1st gen iPhone does not make good financial sense.
I mean come on, the 2gen will get another color and some new features (man current owners will head to ebay to sell and buy a new one). 3rd gen will get slight design change with more features and so on up til 5 or 6 gen when they will introduce a completely redesigned unit.
This goes for Nintendo (how many gameboy advance versions were there anyway?) and basically most all tech gadgets.
$$$$$$$$$ Money is the whole idea here, not pleasing whiny people $$$$$$$$$$$$
eBay hypes up game system auctions {Joystiq}
Nov 21st 2006 7:13PM I think Ebay is making more money on the Wiis then Nintendo. Ebay should make a bundle on this guys "bundle". www.thewiitree.com

CinemaNow DVD burning "irresponsibly defective" {Engadget}
Aug 3rd 2006 5:07PM I'm looking forward to the day when downloading movies is practical works flawlessly. Unfortunately that seems like the distant future as CinemaNow just doesn't cut it. On a positive note, I discovered a DVD vending machine at my local walmart in kennesaw, GA. It carries all the new releases and only costs $1 a day. So far I rented 2 movies from it. I think it is a great concept since Blockbuster is way too much money and for someone that does not rent a ton of movies a month, it's economical.
