High Fidelity HDTV channel suite hits Rogers in Ontario {Engadget HD}

Dec 20th 2008 10:17PM Been watching those channels now in free preview but not impressed. Lots of pretty pictures but actual entertaining shows are far and few between. They seem to be treating HD as a gimmick ....
The movies they are showing are B films and some seem up converted and not in true HD. The audio is rarely in 5.1. Plus there is this annoying old dude who ruins the films at the beginning with his smug commentary and complete synopsis of the film. Ditch the old dude and commentary and get on with the film!
I'd pay about 3.95 for all 4 channels not worth much more than that.
