The Samsung MediaLive Digital Media Adapter gets a date {Engadget HD}

Dec 10th 2008 8:28PM We purchased the Samsung MediaLive Digital Media Adapter from ABT Electronics. Hooked it up and although the computer could see the TV (Samsung pn50A650) and the TV could see the media player and screen said everything was set up properly, all attempts to use the MediaLive failed. After countless calls to Samsung, who were stumped at all levels, they offerred to send out a tech to service the TV, which has nothing wrong with it. We called ABT who were stumped as well and suggested that we return the MediaLive and they would send a new one in the event that it was defective. Hooked up the new one and had the same problems. Called Samsung several times and they listen to the whole story, walk through the set up process with us, agree that it should work and when it doesn't, we get disconnected! Did you have any problems with the initial set up?
