Nov 18th 2008 4:40PM I think I initially looked at a PS3 b/c I already had a PSP which I bought used from a co-worker for $90. I frankly don't use that all that much together as I've found remote play flaky and other uses few and far between.
Nonetheless, having one opened the door to considering the other.

Oct 31st 2008 12:59PM For those not interested in Party Mode . . . the Crash games on Burnout 3 produced some of the best non-traditional-gamer involvement at some of my parties. Once people saw it they wanted to play.
Paradise's crash mode isn't as fun IMHO, but there is potential with the other modes.

Sep 30th 2008 12:23AM I also picked up a USB extension cable. If you have a HD tv and sit ~12ft away from your tv, the eye doesn't zoom in far enough if you ask me. The quality is great, but you'll end up taking up just a portion of the screen.
And to move the camera close enough, you'll need an extension.

Sep 27th 2008 7:30PM To the first question, don't forget that all PS3 have BC for PS1 games, its the BC with PS2 games that is up in the air.
So if you truly have "a ton" of PS1 games you should be able to play those.
As for me, I was very disappointed in BC for my PS2 games on my MGS4 80GB system. Sure, many game ran, but man more didn't or were borked so much that it wasn't worth it. If it wasn't for MGS4 and the DS3 packins, I would've been better off getting the 40GB system.

Sep 24th 2008 8:23PM I'm very wary of last minute additions to the PSN store. The last time I fell for that was Jeopardy a few weeks ago. Not a horrible, horrible, game but wasn't up to what I was expecting.
