Swag Saturday: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 controllers for all those holiday games {Joystiq}

Nov 14th 2009 9:59PM My mother-in-law is good at Christmas time for the big ticket items on my wish list. She's picked up my Logitech driving wheel and Rock Band drums. The best part is that she is game to try them all.

Whereas I can't get my wife to even watch me play, my mother-in-law will give GT5:P and RB2 a go! Watching her rock out to The Cars on Rock Band is a treat.

Rock Band Weekly: A killer Queen pack {Joystiq}

Oct 16th 2009 12:36PM Queen's Greatest Hits spans 3 CD last I checked. Who ever said this was that?

It is easier to name a sone you wnat that isn't on here than one that is on here you don't want.

Great collection IMHO with room for Queen DLC Pack 2. Let's leave it at that.

MTV spent big for The Beatles, slowly backing away from peripheral business {Joystiq}

Aug 31st 2009 11:02AM I'm ready for an update to RB2 as DLC. Not new songs, but new features and gameplay.

I'd drop $10-$15 to get new play modes, better score tracking (please!), heck, even new background music.

It could just use some spiffy new stuff beyond songs.

Courtney Love Attacks Ryan Adams ... Again {Spinner}

May 7th 2009 11:27PM Isn't her entire MO being a filthy hatch?

She can rot

The Lord of the Rings trilogy finally announced for Blu-ray {Joystiq Playstation}

Apr 17th 2009 2:55PM and why does this need to be on 7 Blu-Ray discs when the extended version was on 6 regular DVDs (not including extra content discs)

Two-Hit Wonders: Crowded House {Spinner}

Apr 6th 2009 3:59PM I think the standard they are setting is a hit is:

1) In the Top 10
2) In the U.S.

By that standard CH, my fav band of all time, is a two hit wonder.

In fact, when I first saw the title, I wondered "I wonder if the House is on here."

Wheel of Fortune costs a small fortune {Joystiq Playstation}

Mar 17th 2009 8:45PM But do any Ps3 game provide this? Doesn't sound like it is even an option.

Wheel of Fortune costs a small fortune {Joystiq Playstation}

Mar 17th 2009 8:43PM If this game is the same quality as Jeopardy which was from the same developer, uses the same character creation system, and also lacks announcers, you'll find that $15 is way overpriced.
