The loot from the recent MacHeist {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Nov 6th 2009 7:42PM Great to see ShoveBox-never heard of it, so I'll be getting the free bundle (always like it when Macheist does free offers).
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 scores mixed reception {Engadget}
Nov 4th 2009 4:33AM Also own a touch screen Sony camera-a 2007 DSC-T70.
I agree about the fiddly touchscreen-on mine, I find it a bit hard to control sometimes, but overall the touchscreen is great.
I'm just reading one of the DSC-TX1 reviews-makes me think of the DSC-TX1 as being a quite nice camera.
Sony should have put a 3.5" screen on it (like on the 2007 DSC-T200 had for instance.
The future of TV on your iPhone is ATSC Mobile DTV {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 17th 2009 11:58PM Reported the spam comment by huangzhixian114.
Can't see Apple including this-as it'd be limited to the US-where ATSC is used.
I could see however, Apple adding mobile ATSC and some form of DVB-so it could used in Europe, Australia,etc.
Former Microsoft Flight Simulator devs form new studio {Joystiq}
Oct 14th 2009 3:08AM Could this studio work with MS on continuing the Flight Simulator franchise (like what one of studios formed out of the Ensemble closure does)
I'd think it'd great if they could create a innovative iPhone and NDS/PSP/Wii/PS3/Xbox/PC flight simulation type game-perhaps taking advantage of 3GS and the latest technologies.
iMovie 8.0.5 available for your downloading pleasure in Software Update {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 13th 2009 6:43PM It's strange Apple won't let you import videos from a iPhone-maybe the next future update after 8.0.5 will address this.
Add Apple's free Backup.app to your backup toolbox {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Oct 13th 2009 6:41PM Nice to see Backup offered as a download for both users of MobileMe and other users.
For me, not being a member of MobileMe-a 100MB limit is fine as I always like to make small backups.
Goodbye MS Works, hello ad-supported Office 2010 Starter! {Download Squad}
Oct 9th 2009 6:37PM What about those not buying new PC's-they could always use the web apps.
I like Works-but it doesn't have modern features like th ribbon, pdf/xps output,etc.
Apple, Woolworths in Australian trademark dispute, media in hysterically confused panic {Engadget}
Oct 5th 2009 5:29PM Apple's lawyers for this case is Baker & McKenzie-has Apple used this law firm in the past?
Apple, Woolworths in Australian trademark dispute, media in hysterically confused panic {Engadget}
Oct 5th 2009 5:27PM Those links to the trademarks seem to be giving me 404 errors.
New Apple Bluetooth keyboard and mouse arrive at the FCC {Engadget}
Oct 2nd 2009 7:20PM Apple needs its own version of a Bluetrack or Darkfield like technology for the next Mighty Mouse-so it could work well on glass surfaces for instance and also note the "Request for confidentiality" was produced sometime in August 2009.
