Nov 6th 2006 11:52AM Quick question:
Even if you have a 1080p tv, there isn't any 1080p content on the 360 right now, so everything is just being upconverted to 1080p. If you have a tv that does a good job with this, wouldn't it be better just to output the Xbox's 720p content as 720p and let the tv do the upconverting?

Oct 12th 2006 10:59AM I have a cablecard installed in my Shard LCD tv. I use Comcast Cable and it was a bit of a challenge getting it installed. The first time they came out, the hooked up my cable box in the living room, but they said that they didn't have any cablecards. It took me 2 months and 2 visits to finally get one.

Aug 24th 2006 10:44AM Has there been any more talk about cable companies actually supporting their CableCARDs in the tivo-3 box? I recently got a CableCARD for one of my tv's and it took Comcast over a month and a half to get a card in stock. I have had a one of Comcast's awful HD DVR's in the past and it seems to me that they would be reluctant to install a cable card in a tivo box which could essentially replace their cable boxes. At the very least, the cable company will be losing their $10 a month for their lousy DVR service.
