Mar 19th 2008 3:11PM HS was a hell of a good time, with all the 60+ hr JRPGs I'm always slogging through a really kick ass 8 hour game here in there is always welcome and will absolutely be played through more than once.

At first I could have cared less about Home except for hoping for some type of acheivement system, but I'm more and more impressed with the direction of Home after every news break.
Assuming that it still includes some level of acheivements system I'm hyped. Good job Sony, and congrats to MS for having such a killer Live service (which I enjoy thoroughly also) so as to push Sony to create Home.

Feb 28th 2008 10:55AM Uhm... being a gamer and supporting all 3 consoles, I gotta tell you Drakes Fortune looks and runs more smoothly than anything else out now on 360 or PS3. In the end they both have some great looking titles but I don't see one or the other being much more powerful.
So a game is released using a different art direction, and you try to use it to attack the PS3's capabilities... hmmm... damn and that means I just fell into some fucktard trolls trap!

I've got Drake's Fortune, Ratchet & Clank, and a dozen other AAA PS3 exclusive and multi-console titles already with outstanding graphics to enjoy rather than worrying about the graphics here, that's not what this title is about.
Give me 16:9, DD sound, and the standard 2D sprites and spell effects in HD and I'm more than happy wiht this.
Definitely not for every gamer even minus the graphic concerns (although if you're that hardcore on ONLY graphics just go watch Beowulf).

They've already stated that this will also come in the form of a patch for users who already own the game, so you don't have to buy it twice contrary to wannabe new source hyperbole.
My thinking is that this will be a rather large patch, so may as well whip up a new box with the patch preloaded aand add a few physical extras like the guide book and put it out on shelves for the same price.

Feb 7th 2008 2:00PM Nevermind the blind 360 fanboys, Sony took a gamble and did some great things with the PS3, they pushed the envelope from the gate and less than 2-years out prices are falling and sells are climbing.
Love having all 3 consoles and really enjoy the benefits of these three big companies going at each other. Now if something would happen to drive down costs of building a new gaming PC every 4-5 years... :(
