Ask Engadget HD: Netflix or Blockbuster -- best by-mail rental service? {Engadget HD}
Feb 18th 2009 3:11PM I have also used both services. I finally went with Netflix. Both services had long waits with Blurays, so that didn't persuade my decision any. What did was the fact that it was a 5 day turn around on movies with BB, and only a 3 day turn around for Netflix. I know I could have taken the video back to BB to swap right there, but they were always out of the movie I wanted.
Coinstar buys out Redbox, will test higher Blu-ray rental prices {Engadget HD}
Feb 18th 2009 3:04PM Blockbuster needs to change their rentals to a dollar a day like Redbox. This would hurt Redbox, and turn the company around. Comparing the two, Blockbuster has a huge selection. Even though I use neither, I love Netflix.
Poll: Do you prefer plasma or LCD? {Engadget HD}
Jan 17th 2009 2:33PM The ignorance of people in this thread is sickening. There are two things about plasmas that you can not deny. One, they have a better picture quality over LCD, and second, they are cheaper than LCD. People need to leave Walmart and shop at a store that has a desent selection of tvs with good quality. I would never buy a tv at Walmart. LCD tvs are catching up to plasma, but I still wouldn't buy one. I can't stand watching movies at 120hz.

Jan 15th 2009 9:20PM I checked it out on my PS3. I thought it was pretty good. A lot better than the pc version on PS3, especially with no keyboard or mouse. I would like to see the ability to view the videos in HD.
