Nov 14th 2008 4:06AM Uhm how can i add these HD-DVD's to my queue. i tried looking when i started netflix a few months ago and none showed up? were they only available to those that added them tot their queue a LONG time ago?

Sep 25th 2008 6:16AM really I see no problem with the B&M model. its the pricing that is way out of wack. personally the best solution I have seen is the Redbox style rental kiosks. $1 per night about all I feel like paying and rarely do i want a movie for a week at a time like Blockbuster mandates. I may be in the minority here but I rent a movie the night I intend to watch it not 6 days prior. Netflix and the like are ok but turn around times of 3 days (1 shipping 1 watching 1 returning) make it hard to get your money's worth unless you are a very ritualistic movie watcher or are compareing to the rediculous prices of Block(wallet)buster.

Sep 15th 2008 3:35PM I am making this post on a $399 Acer Extensa right now. and the ability to actually read the text on a screen twice the size of a netbook without having to bust out the magnifying glass is a definite plus.

Mar 9th 2008 4:01AM As a HD-DVD fan myself I must admit. I would have been much better off with an HDi capable Blue ray player that Played 50 GB discs for about $250 (halfway between the $100 for the cheapest HD-DVD and cheapest Blu Ray) Might I also add that It is a good thing that HD DVD lost. not because I wanted blu ray to win. BUT, the Combo Discs fromt he red camp have made this a whole lot easier on me. I can still buy combo discs now for $20 or less (about the same I would pay for the normal DVD) and get the HD version and not have to worry about it. if Blu would have lost they would have just been dicked completely. at least I cant flip my HD DVD's over when I wanna watch them at a friends house. alas hindsight is 20/20 and I am sure we all wish Toshiba ans Sony would have made nice in the beginning.
