India's Prasar Bharati plans for HDTV in 2010 {Engadget HD}

Nov 19th 2007 12:37PM JD chill out. Where in his comment does he say people in India can't afford HDTVs?
He is looking for some stats, of course that number would be low since there is very little content outside HD/Blu DVD players. Your post is way out of line.

Sep 14th 2007 11:14AM I wonder if T-Mobile USA will be equipped to handle unlocked iPhones if they handle regular iPhones in Europe?

Apple says Cisco lawsuit is "silly" {Engadget}

Jan 11th 2007 2:33PM They won't be prevented from selling it Mr. IP Attorney. Just selling it with that name. They can sell it with another name. Oh and check out the Teledex iPhone while you are at it.

Cisco SVP Mark Chandler weighs in on iPhone debacle {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 11th 2007 12:22PM LiSa Cisco did not pAtEnT iPhone they bought a company who registered the trademark. Figure it out.

And if you did not realize last time around with the iPod, people will buy it. Apple may not sell 10 million if that is what they claimed, but they will sell as many as they can produce.

Jim, yes you are not an IP attorney. Bargaining was done when the court case was filed. Regardless of what the whole world knows the iPhone is means they don't know what Cisco's is and does and means it does not work for Cisco.
Also go lookup Teledex iPhone and Info Gear iPhone and upgrade your IP skills.

Boy Genius: BlackBerry "lost three years" with Apple iPhone {BBHub}

Jan 11th 2007 10:22AM You who call the iPhone DOA or Dead in a few months are the same jokers who called the iPod DOA when it originally debuted at the price it did. You were wrong then and are wrong now. The writing is on the wall from the reviews. It will sell and sell very well.

Boy Genius: BlackBerry "lost three years" with Apple iPhone {BBHub}

Jan 10th 2007 11:02PM I find it extraordinary people are comparing a product not yet for sale to a product been on sale for how long now? Most of what the iPhone and Pearl can do music, video, email, sms, calendar, maps, bluetooth can be done by ten tons of other phones. Its also equally ludicrous to compare typing with a full standard keyboard (which by the way is not full lest it is from your desktop computer) to something you have not even tried yet. I have no idea how the iPhone will feel and as a result chose not to comment on it for fear of looking like a doofus.
Security and manageability? I suppose you were an early tester of the iPhone and got to test out this rev 1 version of the phone and know all the apps that are available for it?

Look how Steve Jobs is dissin' BlackBerry Pearl in this pix! {BBHub}

Jan 10th 2007 4:29PM Why would you laugh at iPhone as "they don't even try make it a business device"? Where in this phones non-existance on the market do you see anything about them saying its not a business device? It does internet, voice messaging, email, it could work plenty as a business device. Hanging your hat on exchange and domino ain't much to hang on. iPhone being built on OS X could easily incorporate that.

That being said I plan on securing myself an 8800 when released. Mainly because I don't want to use cingular anymore and because I can get one sans camera at a good price.

ATI R600 graphics card benchmarked, cruises by NVIDIA's GeForce 8800 GTX {Engadget}

Jan 1st 2007 9:16AM To the whiners, quit whining. Who cares if someone pays big bucks for the card when it comes out. Let them, that makes it cheaper for us down the line.
Also I gotta point out its very nice to have two competitors in this market who are relatively equal. Look at the output due to competition from these companies. Imagine where we would be if Intel/AMD were 50/50 owners of the market or if Apple/Microsoft were 50/50 owners. Competition would be great in those markets.
