England didn't win the '66 world cup according to high-def {Engadget HD}

Jun 4th 2006 1:19PM So can anyone actually point to a copy of the new video so we can see for ourselves?

Great Deal on Sony's FX1 {DV Guru}

Mar 31st 2006 5:05PM Rather then posting as much and as fast as you can, how about reading the link site and getting the facts correct. It's not The Apple Store, it's dealmac.com, and while you got the link from HD for Indies he points you to the original source and, oh yeah, the deals no longer available.

Here's a view of my favorite projectionist!

High Quality Compression at Low Bit rates {DV Guru}

Feb 13th 2006 12:45PM Keep moving forward with your plans. I took a 12 min iMovie I'd created and used their tips to create -- a 1GB H.264 file! That's not going to get me anywhere.

So I'd like to see you continue on your path of digging into the details of moving video to the web. I'd also like to see a nice Embed capability for WP.

Macworld Reviews iMovie 6 {DV Guru}

Feb 1st 2006 11:36PM I use iMovie although I'm on iMovie4, having worked with current versions progressively since June 2002. I concentrate on simple soccer highlight videos, both for my website and for DVD. I've loved the integration and ease of use but I did not like the changes in v5. Now after five months of only pain and agony in Tiger I've gone back to Panther and some stability has come back although I had to add PatchBurner to support the new Pioneer DVD burner I put in my dual 1GHz G4 PowerMac. Its too late to change for the upcoming Spring season but I'm going to seriously look at the new Adobe Premier2 solution on an XP desktop and I guess I need to dig into FCE as the other choice. Vegas sounds interesting but I'm loath to invest in a Sony software solution, I don't have faith it will be a LT solution for me.

Bad luck with iTunes {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Nov 28th 2005 10:53AM I run a small website focused on soccer in the region and use a G4 Powermac for managing the photos and videos I include in the site (QT streaming) I've experienced the glitches that come with migrating from 10.1 to 10.2 and so on and thus waited on 10.4 until this fall. Even hired an Apple consultant to help me this time, a guy recommended by two printers & a publisher here in SGF, since my experience with the loan Apple reseller has been very poor. I have not been able to use the system on a consistence basis the entire fall season. The system locks up with spinning beach balls that go on overnight, unmounts both my internal drives and external drives (I have 1.7 TB to provide video archives and mirrored backup) and it has been a nightmare. Significant enough that I'm prepared to look at XP-based video non-linear editors over the holidays in anticipation of replacing a dual processor, 1.5 GB RAM G4 system. What would you suggest as a replacement for Quicktime?
