Nov 12th 2008 12:10PM I own a PS3. I looked very closely at both when I made the purchase, and feel that the price was worth the extra money. If you purchase an Xbox 360, it will not play blu-Ray movies, so if you're looking at HD movies, then you will still need to purchase a Blu-Ray disc player. At that point, you are going to be over the price of a PS3. Personally, I prefer the PS3 controllers, because I find the Xbox ones to be too bulky, but that is just me. I have played them both, and graphically they are quite comprable. The other nice feature is that with the firmware updates from Sony, the PS3 can be updated to handle the newest Blu-Ray features, as well. Most of the lower-priced Blu-Ray players do not have this functionality on them. I hope this helps.
