Jan 14th 2008 6:12AM Even after the Warner announcement I felt that Microsoft may not be ready to give up on this investment just yet, especially since they aren't ready for internet distribution prime time. I say let them both exist for as long as possible... more competition, improved technology, maintaining capitalism in the HD front....what could be better?
Poll: Have you seen a movie on a 4K projector? {Engadget HD}
Jan 5th 2008 5:27PM I dont know if these are all 4K but I do make special trips to see films digitally, on a DLP cinema. To me there is just no comparison. I understand there are two types of DLP, 2K and 4K. Knowing where I live in the country (Arizona) there are no 4K projection systems here. However, the instant I hear about one nearby (whether here in Tucson or even up in Phoenix) I will definitely check them out.

the solution for universal remotes for those of us who own a PS3 as a
Blu-ray player. Also I know it mentions XP and Vista, but I am also
sure somehow it will support Mac OS X as well for those of us with
Bluetooth enabled Macs.

Mar 25th 2007 8:56PM Sweet, I live here in Tucson and I sell HDTV's at a Best Buy here, be great to tell people they will be able to watch the news in HD finally. And here tucson is usually the last city to receive anything new for technology... :-D

Mar 13th 2007 11:28PM Well I heard from some sites that this player will have HDMI 1.3 (although I dont know how reliable those sources are). If it does have it, you can get Dolby trueHD and DTS HD through an upcoming HDMI 1.3 A/V receiver.
